KCIC is proud to be attending the 2025 Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee CLE Seminar. This exciting event takes place at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in sunny Tucson from March 5th – March 8th.  As usual, this year’s conference promises to provide cutting-edge and informative content through plenary, breakout and roundtable programming.  The scheduled events allow plenty of time to enjoy the outdoors and to network with old (and new) friends.

KCIC is proud to again be the Event Sponsor for this annual gathering.  I will be joined by my colleagues, Elizabeth HankeDiana Kantner and Nick Sochurek.  Diana and Nick will also have the opportunity to speak on some very exciting panels.

Diana will present on Friday morning and be joined by Will Purnell of Spencer Fane, Allison Zamani of Blank Rome, and Freya Bowen of Neal Gerber Eisenberg for a plenary session titled “Is DEI Still Alive Post-SCOTUS 2023?”  The panel will endeavor to help answer some very important questions around diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Should their DEI committees be disbanded? How do you maintain DEI in a changing environment? This panel will discuss the practical steps that law firms can take to be fully open to recruiting and promoting minorities, while also obeying the letter of the law.

Later on Friday morning, Nick will participate in a breakout session with  Alexis Dyschkant of Covington & Burling, Kelli Amador  of Dinsmore and Seth Thomas  of Bose, McKinney & Evans. Their program, “Tug of (Coverage) Wars: Who Controls the Defense in Multi-Suit Claims” will be a spirited discussion about who controls the defense of claims in situations when multiple claimants sue one or more defendants for injuries arising from a single occurrence where policy limits may not cover the total exposure.

We look forward to seeing you in Tucson! You can view the entire conference schedule here.
