The Daily Gazette newspaper, which covers the region around Albany, N.Y., cited KCIC in a story about Albany International Corp. The company — founded in Albany in 1895 and now headquartered in New Hampshire — released results that it was involved in 3,677 claims for personal injury due to alleged exposure to asbestos-containing materials.
In describing how the pace of new asbestos claims is declining, the paper said KCIC "found a corresponding drop in filings for major disease type (mesothelioma, lung cancer, other cancer, non-malignant)."
