Shreyas Malhotra is a dynamic data science and analytics professional specializing in litigation and insurance consulting.
Part of the KCIC team since 2018, he has a reputation for delivering data strategies and establishing enduring client relationships. Shreyas has been a part of KCIC since 2018 and has led and participated in projects in litigation valuations, insurance coverage review, insurance allocations and claims administration. His expertise is rooted in constructing robust relational database architectures, streamlined data pipelines, and advanced financial data visualization. He leverages predictive modeling, machine learning methodologies and business intelligence tools to drive business intelligence and data-informed decisions, making the complex accessible through clear visualizations and narrative. He has served clients across various litigations — asbestos, talc powder, PFAS/PFOA chemicals, environmental cleanup, and pharmaceuticals — and is zealous about employing data science to improve data accessibility to inform litigation strategy that leads to favorable litigation outcomes.
Shreyas helps lead KCIC's Diversity and Inclusion team. The role includes overseeing execution of goals such as initiating open dialogue and intentional inquiry to grow in understanding, celebrating, and embracing differences in race, ethnicity, gender expression, sexual orientation, and religion. Initiatives include development of a mentorship program for new hires and creation of materials for quarterly lunch and learn meetings.
In his personal time, Shreyas cherishes great food from all parts of the world and an active lifestyle that includes time spent at the boxing gym, CrossFit gym or running distance races with the intention to participate in a marathon soon. He is also a fan of various motorsports both Formula 1 and MotoGP as well as a Manchester United fan on the club soccer side.
