Having spent much of her career serving clients who are asbestos defendants, Michelle Potter is an authority on the current state of the asbestos litigation industry. At KCIC, her day-to-day role is to manage client relationships and lead projects to develop and implement claims processing procedures and systems, as well as to perform complex analyses of different types of claims and insurance.
“I’m able to provide perspective around what we are seeing in the industry or a sense of what other companies in similar situations are doing,” she says. In addition to her expertise, Michelle has an unrelenting commitment to client service. “My clients know that I care about them and about delivering the best product or service possible.”
Michelle’s knowledge gives clients the advantage when she is tapped for testimony in cases involving allocation of claims to insurance. She also is a speaker at many industry events.
Within KCIC, Michelle is tasked with helping the company grow through business development activities and internal initiatives. “I work to cultivate a culture at our firm where our employees can learn, grow and thrive,” she says.
On the personal side, Michelle’s calendar is full of sporting events and other activities to support her three children. She also volunteers at her family’s church and her children's school.
